Founder & CEO of DevSpaces Consulting. Tarek brings over 20 years of strategic leadership in international development across Egypt and the Middle East. As a recognized expert in Business Development, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), Research, and Information Systems, he has successfully launched, directed, and managed large-scale programs for numerous international organizations. Throughout his career, Tarek has led diverse interventions across multiple sectors, spanning education reform, livelihoods, SME development, employment generation, and community development. His technical expertise includes designing responsive funding mechanisms, capacity development frameworks, and comprehensive monitoring systems. He has executed over 600 research, evaluation, digital transformation, and livelihoods projects, collaborating closely with leading international organizations and donors including: UNDP, UNICEF, WFP, UNHCR, IOM, USAID, CIDA (now Global Affairs Canada), Italian Cooperation, CARE, CRS, Participatory Development Program, and the NGO Service Center. At the national and grassroots level, Tarek has worked with more than 1,400 community-based organizations, 2,800 schools, 200 health units, and local authorities across all 27 governorates of Egypt. He has also supported research centers and government directorates in building institutional capacity for project design, implementation, advocacy, and policy dialogue. Tarek possesses deep expertise in livelihoods and self-resilience programming, complemented by strong academic credentials in business management. He has participated in numerous international initiatives aimed at improving economic and welfare conditions for youth, women, and marginalized communities — guiding efforts from needs assessment and program design through final evaluation and impact assessment. Dr. Mohamed A. Razek is a distinguished education and development expert with over 25 years of experience in education reform, skills development, and entrepreneurship support. A strong advocate for youth empowerment and job readiness, he has dedicated his career to bridging the gap between education systems and labor market demands. Before joining DevSpaces in 2017, Dr. Razek served in senior roles at the Ministry of Education in Egypt, where he was instrumental in shaping and implementing national education reform strategies. His work focused on enhancing technical and vocational education, modernizing curricula, and improving teacher training and institutional performance. Throughout his career, Dr. Razek has designed and managed numerous training programs aimed at preparing young people for employment, supporting small business creation, and promoting self-employment in underserved communities. His approach combines policy-level insight with field-tested methodologies tailored to real-world economic and social needs. Dr. Nagla Said is a dedicated professional in the field of education and training, with more than 15 years of experience designing and implementing learning programs that foster personal development, professional skills, and inclusive educational practices. Her expertise spans curriculum development, teacher training, training of trainers (ToT), and educational program design, with a strong focus on aligning learning outcomes with real-world needs. She has worked across formal and non-formal education systems, contributing to initiatives that improve the quality of teaching, enhance learning environments, and promote equity in education. At DevSpaces, Nagla leads the development of training content and delivery frameworks for a variety of projects targeting educators, youth, women, and marginalized communities. Ahmed Ibrahim is a skilled software engineer and the Lead Developer at DevSpaces, where he oversees the design and implementation of custom-built information systems, web platforms, and mobile applications. With a solid foundation in engineering and years of hands-on experience, Ahmed combines deep technical knowledge with a passion for solving real-world challenges through technology. He has played a key role in developing Monitoring & Evaluation systems, MIS platforms, mobile apps, dashboards, and ERP solutions tailored to the needs of development organizations and business clients. His work ensures seamless integration of data, usability, and system reliability — enabling clients to make smarter, data-driven decisions. Ahmed leads a multidisciplinary team of developers, ensuring projects are delivered with high standards of security, scalability, and performance. He is well-versed in a range of technologies including PHP, MySQL, JavaScript frameworks, mobile development, and modern cloud architectures. At DevSpaces, Ahmed is also responsible for mentoring junior developers, introducing agile practices, and continuously improving the development lifecycle. Menna Mostafa plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of DevSpaces' internal operations. With strong organizational skills and attention to detail, she manages daily administrative tasks, supports project logistics, and coordinates communications across departments. Her responsibilities include maintaining documentation, overseeing schedules, supporting procurement and HR processes, and providing operational support to project teams. Samar is known for her efficiency, professionalism, and ability to keep things running behind the scenes. With a background in office management and experience supporting development-focused organizations, Samar brings reliability and structure to the workplace, helping the entire team focus on delivering high-impact results.

Dr. Mona Salah is a board-certified physician with over 20 years of clinical and public health experience specializing in family planning, reproductive health, maternal-child wellness, and preventive care. Her practice integrates evidence-based medicine with community-centered programming to strengthen health systems and empower families across Egypt.   At DevSpaces, Dr. Mona provides technical leadership on health-focused initiatives—from designing family planning service delivery models and training frontline health workers to advising on integrated maternal-child health interventions. Her work ensures that development programs are grounded in clinical rigor, gender-responsive care, and a holistic understanding of family well-being.
